Pastor Jim Borchert and Pastor David Halvorson serve as elders with pastoral oversight of two local churches of Christian believers located in Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas

Jim Borchert, Pastor

Pastor Jim Borchert holds his ordination as a Minister of the Gospel by God's sovereign grace, recognized by World Ministry Fellowship, with its international headquarters in Plano, Texas. He has served in the pastoral ministry continuously since 1968. "Pastor Jim" is a well-known pastor and teacher in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and has served local churches in the area since 1969. In addition, he has traveled and ministered throughout sub-Sahara Africa, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria, Burundi and Uganda since 1984 in an apostolic capacity. He has also preached and taught in Moldova, India, Ukraine and Israel. He has held numerous teaching seminars and teaching retreats over the years and has taught at the TCU Brite Divinity School and in various area churches. He has given his testimony on the 700 Club and has appeared on TBN, sharing the work of Hope for Africa. He and his beloved wife, Peggy, have been married for 47 years and have four grown children and nine grandchildren.

Pastor Jim’s insights through years of study and prayer in the areas of theology, discipleship, church government, law, property, trust and other fields are a blessing to the saints. His delivery is welcomed by both the layman and the scholar. His personal library of over 35,000 volumes is a testimony to his scholarship and his dedication to study of the Word of God and understanding the wisdom of this world. The heart of Pastor Borchert’s ministry is discipleship by the revelation of the Holy Spirit, speaking the truth in love, so that the church may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. David Halvorson, Pastor

Pastor David Halvorson holds his ordination as a Minister of the Gospel by God's sovereign grace, through Grace Fellowship, Tulsa, OK and recognized by World Ministry Fellowship. He graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK and has has worked with Pastor Jim since 1981. He serves as the Northwest Texas State Director for World Ministy Fellowship. Pastor David has oversight of the house-churches in both Dallas and Fort Worth and administers all the day-to-day details of the two local churches. He also shares in preaching, teaching, healing, deliverance and other ministerial duties of the two churches. He has traveled and ministered in South Africa, Mozambique, Uganda and Israel. He and his wife, Janet, have been married 31 years and have four children.
